| All of China is on one time zone, which is on the other side of the international date line -- so it is easier to count hours difference going east. Therefore, China is 13 hours later than Detroit/Windsor (Eastern Standard Time), 14 hours later than Chicago (Central Standard Time) and 16 hours later than Vancouver (Pacific Standard Time). |

12:25 pm depart Vancouver to Beijing AC 29 arrive at 3:40pm on Sunday, Dec. 12. (11 hr, 15 min flight where you also lose 16 hours)

5:45 pm - depart Beijing to Vancouver AC 30 arrive at 12:35pm (12 hr, 15 minute flight where we gain 16 hours -- so we arrive in Vancouver 3 hrs, 45 min before we take off!)
Unfortunately, arriving in Vancouver too late to take any daytime flights back to Windsor. So we'll nap at the Four Points Sheraton again, go to dinner, and get on the "red-eye" flight back to Windsor through Toronto. (It will still feel like daytime to us!).

10:45 pm depart Vancouver to Toronto AC156 - arrive 6:05am on Dec. 24 (4 hour, 20 min flight where we also lose 3 hours)
Dec. 24 (Fri) - Christmas Eve
7:15 am depart Toronto to Windsor AC7741 - arrive 8:29 am (1 hr, 14 min flight).
Approx 9:30 am, arrive at 242 Pine Street. On our arrival at home, it will feel like 10:30 pm to us (China time). The total time to get from hotel in Beijing to our home is 32 hours.
