Back to pictures for Feb 1-6 (Baptism). More March, 2005 Pictures from Baptism weekend, with family in town from Illinois and Iowa. Elisa and her cousin, Maggie, playing together. John and Rick play the part of the bull. (There's no interest in lame horsy-back rides ... You gotta buck and make lots of noise!). And the kids play for hours with walkie-talkies.
Elisa demonstrates her skills on the piano.
Aunt Sarah enjoys the little ones.
Papa hustles the kids in a little friendly card game.
Elisa wearing a new dress from Grampa and Nana. March 12. Vanessa and Johnny bring baby Jordan to meet Elisa. Zia Teresina made a knit dress for Elisa. Zia Teresina. Jordan and Elisa share arrow root cookies. This was the first time that Elisa met a baby younger than herself since she was in China. She got immediately jealous and cried when she saw her Mommy or Daddy picking up Jordan in their arms. But as long as Jordon was on the ground with her, they got along great. Jordan is a big baby. Rick thought he had it tough carrying around Elisa. But Johnny must be getting huge arms... Elisa goes with Mommy and Daddy to the grocery store. She loves all the interesting things to see -- and to try to eat. But she is not too fond of the fact that the seat in the cart faces the rear. This is a girl that wants to see where she's going, not who's pushing her there! March 13. Tom and Vito come for a visit. Elisa's ready to go to work. Jay comes for a visit. After an initial period of being intimidated by Jay's height, Elisa grows to appreciate how high he can lift her. Elisa lookin' good in a dress and matching socks from Sue. Linda's birthday party at Nonno and Nonna's house. Ann, Emma and Mark come to meet Elisa. Elisa was captivated by the blinking eyes of a doll from Ann and Emma. Is the doll alive? Mark brought at duck puppet that quacks when you squeeze his beak.... ... much to the delight of the little puppeteer. Water play, wearing a plastic smock. Can dish washing be far behind? Sandra, Anarita and Franca come to visit Elisa for Easter. Franca brought a horse with a rider that looks like Elisa. |
